Ambassador Nomination Recommendation Form

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Nepal, invites applications from qualified Nepali citizens for the position of Ambassador of Nepal or Permanent Representative. Serving as the highest-ranking diplomatic representative in a receiving state or international organization, the Ambassador will be responsible for advancing Nepal's foreign policy objectives, protecting national interests, and strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations. Eligible candidates must be at least 35 years of age, possess relevant experience and must have demonstrated leadership skill gained through experience. The position carries a Gazetted Special Class rank and offers a tenure of up to four years. Recommendation for qualified individuals can be submitted by completing the form below.
