At the cordial invitation of the Right Honourable Vice President of Nepal, Mr. Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Her Excellency Madam Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, will be paying an official visit to Nepal from 23-25 August 2025. The visit marks the first-ever highest-level engagement from Viet Nam to Nepal.
During the visit, the two Vice-Presidents will lead their respective delegations at the Nepal-Viet Nam bilateral meeting scheduled for 24 August 2025 in Kathmandu. In addition, Vice President Madam Xuan will call on and hold courtesy meetings with high dignitaries of Nepal.
This year holds a special significance as it marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Her Excellency will depart Kathmandu for Hanoi on 25 August 2025.
