Press Release regarding official visit of Hon’ble Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs to the People’s Republic of China

The Hon’ble Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal will pay an official visit to the People’s Republic of China leading a Nepali delegation from September 6, 2017 at the invitation of H.E. Mr. Wang Yi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of China. The delegation comprises Ambassador of Nepal to China and senior officials of both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing.

During the visit, the Hon’ble Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs will hold delegation level talks with H.E. Mr. Wang Yi in Beijing. H. E. Mr. Wang Yi will also host luncheon in honour of Hon’ble Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs. The Hon’ble Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs is also scheduled to meet senior Chinese leaders and also to attend a talk programme in the China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing.

The Hon’ble Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs will inaugurate the newly established Consulate General of Nepal in Guangzhou on 10 September 2017. He will also address the business community and meet the provincial leaders in Guangzhou.

He will also visit the Hebei Province and meet the provincial leaders.

The Hon’ble Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs will return home on 11 September 2017.
