At the invitation of The Rt. Hon’ble K P Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of Nepal, Her Excellency Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar is on an official goodwill visit to Nepal on 29-30 November 2018.
The State Counsellor of Myanmar is accompanied by H.E. U Kyaw Tin, Union Minister for International Cooperation; H. E. U Min Thu, Deputy Minister in President’s Office and H. E. U Aung Htoo, Deputy Minister for Commerce and other high level officials of the Government of Union Republic of Myanmar.
H. E. Suu Kyi was received at the Tribhuwan International Airport’s VVIP bay by Hon’ble Ishwor Pokharel, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense.
Hon’ble Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Minister for Foreign Affairs, called on the State Counsellor and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Matters relating to further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed during the meeting.
