At the invitation of Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nepal Rt. Hon. Mr. Agni Prasad Sapkota, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China, H.E. Mr. Li Zhanshu is scheduled to visit Nepal from 12 to 15 September 2022.
Rt. Hon. Mr. Agni Prasad Sapkota and H.E. Mr. Li Zhanshu will hold delegation-level bilateral talks on 12 September 2022. The Rt. Hon. Speaker will host a banquet in honour of H.E. Mr. Li Zhanshu and the members of his delegation in the same evening.
During his stay in Nepal, H.E. Mr. Li Zhanshu will pay courtesy calls on President Rt. Hon. Mrs. Bidya Devi Bhandari on 14 September 2022, and Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Mr. Sher Bahadur Deuba on 13 September 2022. On the same day, H.E. Mr. Li Zhanshu will meet with Chairperson of the National Assembly Rt. Hon. Mr. Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, and Minister for Foreign Affairs Hon. Dr. Narayan Khadka will pay a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Li Zhanshu.
Hon. Mr. K P Sharma Oli, former Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN-UML, and Hon. Mr. Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, former Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN-Maoist Centre will also hold separate meetings with the visiting Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China H.E. Mr. Li Zhanshu on 13 September 2022.
