Hon. Mr. Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Government of Nepal held a telephonic conversation today with His Excellency Dato Saifuddin Abdullah, newly appointed Foreign Minister of Malaysia. Hon. Gyawali congratulated HE Abdullah on his appointment as Foreign Minister of Malaysia.
During their conversation, both Ministers discussed the relationship between Nepal and Malaysia and agreed to further consolidate the relationship. They also discussed the contribution of Nepali Migrant workers in their countries. Hon. Gyawali requested HE Abdullah for removing the exorbitant charges imposed on migrant workers during the course of their recruitment. HE Abdullah assured that he would look into the matter seriously. Hon. Gyawali also invited HE Abdullah to visit Nepal which HE replied positively and further details would be communicated through diplomatic channel.
