Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Mr. K P Sharma Oli has sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rt. Hon. Mr. Boris Johnson MP.
In his message, the Prime Minister extended his best wishes to Rt. Hon. Mr. Johnson for his successful tenure as well as for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the people of the United Kingdom. The Prime Minister has also recalled his recent visit to the United Kingdom and the bilateral meeting he had with the outgoing Prime Minister May on important bilateral matters. He has also expressed his willingness to closely working with his British counterpart to further cementing Nepal-UK bilateral ties.
Similarly, Minister for Foreign Affairs Hon. Mr. Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has sent a message of congratulations to Rt. Hon. Mr. Dominic Raab MP, newly appointed Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom. In his message, Hon. Mr. Gyawali expressed his confidence that Nepal-UK friendship would continue to make further strides during the tenure of Rt. Hon. Mr. Raab.
