The consulate General of Nepal, Jeddah celebrated National Day of Nepal, to commemorate the promulgation of the Constitution of Nepal 2015, on 1st, Asoj 2075 at the event organized in Crown Plaza , Jeddah. His Excellency, Jamal Bakor Balkhoyor; Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maaka Branch attended the event as the chief guest and other officials from the ministry including His Excellency, Sami Jamel Abdullah; Director of the Protocol Division was also present. High officials from Saudi Government, consulates, international organization, private sector, civil society, media and significant number of Nepalese community from various walk of life also participated in the program.
While delivering speech during the program, Mr. Revati Raman Paudel ; The Acting Consul General of Nepal spoke about the current state of political, economic and social development of Nepal and explained about friendly relationship that exist between two countries. He thanked, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for providing employment opportunities to large number of Nepalese people and wish to strengthen relation in the area of trade and cooperation.
During the program tourism promotion materials were presented and Nepalese handicrafts including traditional musical instruments were displayed . All the foreign guest attending the program were handed a gift pack consisting of Mt. Everest picture.
