Foreign Minister Hon. Dr. Narayan Khadka is leaving for Belgrade today, at the invitation of His Excellency Mr. Nikola Selaković, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Serbia and His Excellency Mr. Jeyhun Bayramov Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, leading the Nepali delegation to the High-level Commemorative meeting to mark the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), to be held in Belgrade on 11-12 October 2021. Nepal is one of the founding members of the NAM and has been playing active role in the Movement ever since its establishment.
The Hon. Foreign Minister is scheduled to address the High-level Commemorative meeting of the NAM on 11th October. While in Belgrade, Hon. Foreign Minister will participate in the side-events and hold bilateral meetings with dignitaries in the side-lines of the meeting.
Other members of the delegation include senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Foreign Minister and the delegation will return to Kathmandu on 13 October 2021.
