Her Excellency Ambassador Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal had a meeting with Hon. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed, Minister of Transport of the sultanate of Oman on 30 October 2019 at latter’s office. The meeting was conducted in cordial and friendly environment.
During the meeting Excellencies discussed on the ways and means to exchange best practices in the sector of road and other infrastructures development. H.E. Ambassador Dhakal thanked Hon. Dr. Ahamed for the meeting and highlighted various plans and priorities of the Government of Nepal for the infrastructure development. Praising the quality of roads in Oman, H.E. Ambassador inquired about the quality control mechanism in infrastructure development of the sultanate. Hon. Minister shared the experience and strategy of infrastructure development in Oman. Hon. Minister also agreed for exchange of technical teams, as proposed by H E ambassador, to explore further on this matter at technical level. Hon. Minister assured about any cooperation and assistance to be extended to enhance transport facilities of Nepal.
