The Right Honourable Prime Minister Mr. K P Sharma Oli sent today a message of congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Eduard Heger on his appointment as the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic.
In his message, the Right Honourable Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the excellent state of bilateral relations between Nepal and the Slovak Republic and conveyed Nepal’s desire to expand these relations further in the areas of trade, investment and technology as well as people-to-people connection. The Right Honourable Prime Minister extended solidarity in the Slovak Republic’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Likewise, the Honourable Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr. Pradeep Kumar Gyawali sent a message to His Excellency Mr. Ivan Korcok congratulating him on his appointment as the Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic. In his message, The Honourable Foreign Minister stated that, as landlocked and mountainous countries, there are strong imperatives for the two countries to work closely on matters of common interests bilaterally as well as in global forums.

Also today, the Honourable Foreign Minister sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Mr. Carlos Alberto Franco Franca on his appointment as the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil. In his message, the Foreign Minister conveyed his desire to explore further the opportunities for cooperation between Nepal and Brazil in the areas trade, investment, agricultural technology and tourism.
