Nepal – Antigua and Barbuda Relations


Nepal and Antigua and Barbuda established diplomatic relations on 25 July 2017. Relations between Nepal and Antigua and Barbuda are based on goodwill, friendship and mutual understanding.

There have been contacts and cooperation between the two countries in the United Nations, international organizations, international conference and meetings. Both Nepal and Antigua and Barbuda are members of the Non-Aligned Movement and the Group of 77. The two countries share common views on a number of international issues, as well as the sentiments of smaller nations.

 

Trade, Tourism and Investment:
The volume of trade between Nepal and Antigua and Barbuda is negligible at the moment. Some of the commodities imported by Nepal from Antigua and Barbuda are maize, vegetable seeds, oil cakes, manganese dioxide, tetracyclines, papers and paper products. Nepal exports carpets, clothing accessories, copper and articles thereof and readymade garments.
