Diplomatic relations
Nepal and the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina established diplomatic relations on 12 January 2000. The bilateral relations between the two countries are based on goodwill, friendship, and mutual understanding. The Ambassador of Nepal to Austria is concurrently accredited to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Similarly, the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to India is also concurrently accredited to Nepal.
There have been contacts and cooperation between the two countries in the multilateral forums like the United Nations, NAM, G-77 and OPCW on matters of mutual interests.
The Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina extended support to the victims of earthquakes 2015.
Trade and Investment
The volume of trade between Nepal and Bosnia and Herzegovina is minimal at the moment. Some of the commodities imported by are liquors, umbrella, electric appliances, accessories of motor vehicles etc. Nepal exports coffee, tea, spices, carpets, clothing accessories, readymade garments etc.
